Making a Difference Beyond IT
At Sunrise Technologies, we believe our role goes beyond providing IT support. We’re part of the local business community, and when there’s an opportunity to help, we step in.
Recently, we had the chance to support Phoenix FM, a community radio station based in Brentwood, as they settled into their new office space.
The Challenge
As a volunteer-run organisation, Phoenix FM plays an important role in the local community, providing a platform for local voices, music, and conversation.
However, like many community organisations, resources are often limited.
When they moved into their new premises, one unexpected challenge quickly became clear: securing parking permits.
While it might seem like a small issue, access to reliable parking is essential for volunteers, presenters, and visitors, especially for a station that relies on people coming and going throughout the day.
For a volunteer-led organisation, navigating this process can be time-consuming and difficult.
Stepping In to Help
Recognising the challenge, we saw an opportunity to step in and support.
Our team worked alongside Phoenix FM to help secure the necessary parking arrangements, ensuring they had the access they needed to operate smoothly from their new location.
It wasn’t about IT, it was about doing the right thing.
